Burnham, ever since she has let her hair down, has been about principles but her time in the 32nd Century has allowed her to see life in a more complex way. Episode 8 entitled "All In" has her moving into more of a gray area, not of morality per se but of purpose. Things can't always go by the book (pun intended)
IR TV Review: THE BOOK OF BOBA FETT - EPISODE 7 (“In The Name Of Honor”) [Lucasfilm/Disney+]
The aspect of wrapping up stories has to with the notion of pace and closure. The culmination of "The Book Of Boba Fett" in Episode 7 is more about showing a progression in Fett's mindset versus that of The Mandalorian which of course this finale builds quickly back into.

The texture of family is what propels the plot of Episode 10: "A Moral Star - Part II" because the choice is based on the nature of knowledge and motivation. Now granted the idea of negotiation should be a forgotten conclusion but it is based in the necessity of knowing most of the cards.
