The National College Television Network

About Us

In 2008 Sirk Productions purchased the Zilo College Television Network, the #1 campus dorm room network, reaching over 5 million subscribers nationwide.  Rebranded as SirkTV, the network  showcases original films and television content geared towards the college audience that is inspiring, thought provoking and entertaining. SirkTV features quality content viewers can’t find on television anywhere else; from music to extreme sports to independent films.

In addition to helping schools fill a programming void, SirkTV helps advertisers fill a need in the out-of-home advertising space. SirkTV works with major brands to directly reach the coveted student demographic with branded television content.  Since 2000 the network has helped companies like Fox, Viacom, NBC, Conde Nast, Fujifilm, HBO, A&E Networks and Rolling Stone Magazine reach the valuable 18-24 college audience.  Our non-traditional approach reaches an audience that is now developing buying patterns and life-long brand loyalty.  When college students discover a company they like, they essentially brand you; instantly becoming your marketing force.

Sirk TV's syndicated award winning first-run television and film programming is free for colleges and universities across the country. Together we will entertain, empower and educate our college viewers while bring value to brands.

About Sirk Productions

Since 1997 Sirk has been led by award-winning filmmakers and designers specializing in creating experiences with a cinematic edge. We are the storytellers of the future blending content with technology. Our goal is to create experiences that are inspiring, thought-provoking and entertaining – films, television programs, branded video content, websites, social media campaigns and experiential content.

Sirk specializes in two distinct areas: Original Entertainment and Creative Agency Services. Our talent has years of experience producing theatrical films and television shows. From our award winning feature documentaries Severe Clear and Anytown, USA to our critically acclaimed television program The Inside Reel, Sirk has worked with entertainment leaders like AMC, PBS, Netflix, Film Movement, DirecTV, Redbox and NBCTelemundo. We have leveraged that experience into creating visual media for brands like Altec Lansing, Vivitar, Hover-1, MacMillan Publishing, LG, Konami, Abrams Publishing, Lucasfilm, Combate Americas and Hasbro.

You've heard the age old debate about what makes a movie a movie and a film a film. Why can't a given piece of work be both? Certainly Academy Award winners such as The Silence of the Lambs, Forrest Gump, Raiders of the Lost Ark and Star Wars are as much films as they are movies. The craft, intelligence and power to move and entertain is why these films earn critical acclaim as well as become global box office sensations. For Sirk, the ability to succeed on these two levels is not only desirable, but essential to what makes us unique. Our success can be seen in our ability to reach a wide audience while entertaining, enlightening, and educating the viewer.

Sirk is growing during a Renaissance in media and we are at the forefront of the amazing changes to come. Not since the advent of sound and the introduction of color have there been such ground breaking and positive development in the world of visual entertainment. Sirk has embraced new technology in the industry, helping it advance while using new tools and efficiencies to tell our stories.

The great philosopher Joseph Campbell was of the opinion that the unpardonable sin was the sin of inadvertence, of not being alert, of being indifferent. There is so much out there, whether it's in books or the day-to-day grind of living, that's ripe for understanding, studying and ultimately incorporating into entertainment. We are the storytellers of the future, the myth-makers for generations to come.

About Zilo

Founded in 1999, New York City-based Zilo Networks quickly became one of the leading integrated entertainment and marketing networks designed specifically for college students and young adults.  Among its most notable accomplishments: the creation of Zilo TV, the nation’s largest dorm room campus cable television network, which in Spring 2009 was sold (and is in the process of being rebranding) to SirkTV. Zilo’s original programming has ranged from “The College Music Awardstm” to the “Off the Hook” comedy series to “Exiled,” the first ever reality competition created by and for college students.  The on and offline series “Get $tupid” is credited with catapulting the widely popular CollegeHumor.com (now a part of IAC) to 6 million monthly users.

Founders David Isaacs and Campbell McLaren’s credits include creating the wildly popular “Ultimate Fighting Championship®”; producing over 40 live Pay-Per-View music and comedy events; executive producing “The Wrong Man” for CourtTV/truTV, “The Iron Ring” – BET’s high-rated docu-drama series featuring hip-hop celebrities – and “Off Bowery,” a ten-part series premiering this Fall following the lives of New York’s hottest downtown artists; and numerous charity (ACLU, Amnesty International) and cause-related (“Lifetime Women’s Film Festival Starring Susan Sarandon”) events.
