Sirk TV Comic Review: STAR WARS ADVENTURES ANNUAL (2020) [IDW]
The progression of "Star Wars Adventures" depends on which timespan the story exists in. While some stories can be basic, some are more existential but seem unable to find their exact way in meaning. The reflection of mythology in some pf the stories does paint the way to understanding certain nuances in forthcoming TV shows or simply for the context of the universe in general. In the "Star Wars Adventures Annual 2020" [48pgs]. The first story brings back Jaxxon, a mercenary rabbit who is like an aloof space version of Bugs Bunny. He has run afoul of Han Solo in the past and Chewbacca seems to know him fairly well. But the play is interesting since he could easily move the way of Jar Jar Binks. Here Solo recruits Jaxxon since he believes he is responsible for the hijack of Imperial credits by an ex-girlfriend. Luke, in his old school form, is along for the ride but doesn't seem to be completely in control of his faculties. Like a couple Jaxxon stories before, the rabbit always seems to pull the rug over his foes at the last minute and get away scot free. But there needs to be a little more strategy in his comeuppance. Solo can get away with it but his approach to the Alliance has always been by the seat of his pants. The second story here revolves around a woman of the Sisterhood. Now granted it is possibly not the ones that integrated with Darth Maul. This sister in particular is very good at communication telepathically with droids in a hereto unknown language. A bounty hunter droid, made even more popular by "The Mandalorian" sees that she has some external power. He tries to take her one but the result is both mysterious but also relevant. B
