Sirk TV Spotlight: UNIVERSAL STUDIOS HOLLYWOOD (Summer 2023) [Universal City, California]

There might be a strike giving you the appearance that Hollywood has shut down. But this is not the case at the full of life, full of fun Universal Studios Hollywood! To celebrate the summer and get ready for the fall, my sons and I headed back for the magic of Universal Studios Hollywood.

Of course, the usual iconic rides, such as Jurassic World and Transformers were the first stop of our boys. Nearby the lower lot of the park, you can find the Super Mario Land which has become the priority of the whole family. We made sure to play all the games and ended up having a blast doing the Mario Kart Ride, a mush “ride” for sure!

Universal Studios has also begun construction on its new roller coaster based on the iconic franchise of “Fast and Furious”. Equipped with a state-of-the-art ride system uniquely created to engulf guests within the dynamic Fast & Furious universe, this all-new roller coaster will benefit from Universal Destinations & Experiences’ decades-long expertise in revolutionizing the development of the contemporary roller coaster across its global theme park destinations.

Food wise, there is a tremendous choice of treats at affordable prices. This time we decided, for lunch, to go “burger style” with “Krusty Burger”. It was such a mad delight to indulge on a mega burger with some french fries. Then for dinner and before heading home we went back to the magic land of Harry Potter and had a quick bite at the ‘Three Broomsticks’ restaurant with the best Shepherd pies you will find in California.

And when Summer is over, make sure to be ready for more Universal Studios fun with the Halloween season being already prepared by a creative team laying the ground for: “Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights”. This year, guests will be transported to the upside-down haunted house inspired by the Netflix mega successful show: “Stranger Things”. Guests will find themselves on the front line of Vecna's deadly attacks on the citizens of Hawkins while traveling through iconic scenes, including the notorious Hawkins Lab, the enigmatic Creel House and Vecna's chilling mind lair. Along the way, guests will confront their deepest fears and come face to face with otherworldly creatures like demobats and even Vecna himself.

Like the iconic band The Doors sung it: “People are Strange”…embrace your strangeness and have a Fantastic rest of the year. And for now, keep on rocking the Summer and head back to the most happening place on Earth: Universal Studios Hollywood.
