IR TV Review: WILLOW - EPISODE 6 [Lucasfilm/Disney+]

The element of consequence continues to besiege the participants of "Willow". With Episode 6, the ideals comes to bear in choices made. The trolls took some of the participants at the end of the last episode which now causes some of the characters to come to balance with certain truths. This episode continues the right banter in what it is showing but also the comedy elements that have become more apparent as the series has continued on. Princess Kit has become more in tune while Ellie Bamber's character is more unsure of herself. The texture can be seen in terms of where loyalties lie. The troll element is played in exactly the right way in maintaining the tone.

A new character comes to light which both pushes the story and gives one the taste of what is possible. It also has an interesting "True Romance" context if looked at a little deeper. The light is shown and there is also allusions to "The Last Crusade". Jake Kasdan is bringing some deep cuts while still making it his own. As the episode runs towards its conclusion there is also an uncovering of an interesting chasm between the two characters at the lead of this review. It does come back to Madmartigan and the way that story is integrated is understandable given Val Kilmer's condition but also works to the way of using that absence to its advantage though it will need to pay off at a certain time.
