Sirk TV Comic Review: STAR WARS - THE HIGH REPUBLIC #4 [IDW]
The aspect of different times in the Star Wars Universe reflect different conflicts though the modulation of what has greater ramifications in balance within the line of consequence. In "Star Wars : The High Republic Adventures" #4 [Older & Tolibao/IDW/33pgs] entitled "The Mountain", it is almost a balance between certain tendencies of Ahsoka's journey early in the final season of "The Clone Wars" in connection with some of the mid-80s TV movies like "Battle For Endor". Padewans will be Padewans but the reality is that emotions usually get the better of them. Even though they may think that they are doing things for the right reasons, experience begets a more moderate approach. Krix, as a character, much like a Solo, means a lot to her because he tries his best to be a protector and yet does not see the whole picture (or his weakness within it). Meanwhile, Lula, her master, is perhaps more understanding than most. Anakin, in many ways, was like this but that lack of discipline made him susceptible to the dark side despite any intentions he might have had. Master Yoda is here among the fray in a parallel Starfighter battle (which while showing that other things are happening in the galaxy) doesn't add much to this particular story. The aspect of Zeen leaving breadcrumbs is both arrogant and thoughtful which is an odd combination for a would-be Jedi but it depends when and if it comes to bear. B-
