In "The Swarm", hailing from France, there is a sense of loss and longing in the character of Valerie (played Suliane Brahim) who is growing locusts to create flour. But like anything...too much becomes overwhelming.

The story is based on the lore of anonymous writer but that basis might have indicated jealousy, greed or nepotism criticism in a certain way on the part of the writer who may have been an unreliable narrator.

"Jungle Cruise" is a fun ride but not really anything new. Its plot points can be pulled almost directly from "The Mummy" with modern inclusion standards updating (which again is understandable).

Suffice to say, "Old" has an idea of the metaphorical story it wants to tell while reflecting a real world ideal of what is for the greater good.

But for general entertainment of the action bent with a genre twist, "Blood Red Sky" does deliver but not overtly beyond its intended means.

Here Lebron James is the new Michael Jordan and he holds up pretty well. No one expects him to do Shakespeare but he delivers as he needs to, maintains his focus of play but also seems to have a little fun.

Unlike "Prisoners Of The Ghostland" which was a mash up (or perhaps like it), his new film "Pig" is not initially what it seems to be. It can be said that this is one of Cage’s more subtle performances (although physically it is not).

The texture of "Deep", a psychological thriller of sorts from Thailand that Netflix acquired is interesting in its mix of new tech, almost "Escape Room" ideas mixed with "Flatliners" and a grounded focus that makes sense.

The key here in "Escape Room: Tournament Of Champions" is that those who survived previous escape rooms are drawn back together to satisfy another adrenaline junkie approach, not for their own benefit but for the unknown magnates perhaps betting on their suffering
