IR Film Review: BELFAST [Focus]
"Belfast" is Kenneth Branagh's love letter but also his contemplation on his youth within the context of family. There is an interesting balance here that is sometimes achieved but most of the time it is too subtly progressed despite a very clear path.
IR Film Review: ARTEMIS FOWL [Disney+]
"Artemis Fowl" doesn't quite know its audience and its audience doesn't quite line up here either. It plays too young while not playing older much like a more expensive version (sorry) of "Agent Cody Banks" with mythology thrown in.

“Cats” wants to be and about something but it just doesn't know what. Like many of Universal's films in the past it is a big swing that inherently doesn't work save for some inspired moments.
